I’m not a trained professional, although I did have a cookie business here in Chicago for several years. That’s on hold now while I try to get it positioned to actually make some money. Meanwhile, since I’ve always got food on the brain, a blog about what I’m cooking and eating.
What I’ve always been into is making food for people. Good food, real food, not that processed stuff. I cook like I mean it, even though most nights it’s just me and the Husband. It’s a love thing.
I loathe the term, “foodie.”
The picture in the masthead was taken in Shanghai, in the upstairs of what appeared to be some lady’s house deep in the chaotic Yuyuan neighborhood. Here we ate one of the best meals of our trip, washed down with plenty of REEB brand beer.
